Privacy Policy

We run a meat market, not a data business. This page explains the limited information this website collects and what we do with it.

Last updated: September 2026 Jordan Meats & Deli, Lakeland, Minnesota

Jordan Meats & Deli is a family-owned meat market and deli in Lakeland, Minnesota. This website exists to tell you what we carry and how to reach us. It has no online ordering, no customer accounts, and no forms, so there is very little for us to collect.

01

Who we are

This policy applies to this website and is provided by Jordan Meats & Deli, 375 St Croix Trail S, Lakeland, MN 55043. Where this policy says "we," "us" or "our," it means Jordan Meats & Deli.

It covers this website only. It does not cover what happens when you call us, email us, or walk into the store, though we handle that information the same way: we use it to serve you and we don't sell it.

02

What we collect

Information you choose to give us

This site has no contact forms, no newsletter signup and no accounts. The only way to reach us through it is to tap a phone number or an email address, which opens your own phone or email app. If you then call or email us, we receive whatever you tell us: typically your name, your phone number or email address, and the details of what you're ordering or asking about.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one and the platform it runs on may automatically record basic technical information when you visit:

  • Your IP address and general location, such as the city or region
  • Your browser and device type, and your operating system
  • Which pages you viewed, when, and which site referred you

Note for review: the specific analytics and advertising tools running on this site need to be named here before this page goes live.

03

How we use it

We use the information described above to:

  • Answer your question, quote your order, or schedule your catering or wild game work
  • Keep the website working, secure and reasonably fast
  • Understand in aggregate which pages people find useful, so we can improve them
  • Meet our legal, tax and food-safety recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

04

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to in order to operate:

  • Service providers. The companies that host this website, provide our email, and supply any analytics we use. They may process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it.
  • Professional advisors. Accountants or attorneys, where needed.
  • Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our customers.

05

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site may use them to keep the site working properly and, if analytics are enabled, to count visits and see which pages are read.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most of this site will work normally without them. Because there's nothing to log into and nothing in a cart, turning cookies off costs you very little here.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or global privacy signal. Where the law requires us to honor such a signal, we do.

06

Maps, video and social links

A few parts of this site bring in content from other companies, and those companies may collect information about you when you interact with it:

  • Google Maps. Our location map is embedded from Google. Loading or using it is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
  • YouTube. Our Twin Cities Live video is hosted on YouTube. We deliberately load it in a click-to-play, no-cookie configuration, which means nothing loads from YouTube unless you press play.
  • Facebook and Google Business Profile. Links to our Facebook page and Google reviews take you to those companies' sites, where their policies apply.

We don't control these companies and we don't receive your personal information from them.

07

How long we keep it

We keep order and customer information only as long as we need it to serve you and to satisfy our business and legal recordkeeping needs. Technical and analytics data is retained according to the settings of whichever tools we use.

08

Your choices

  • Email and calls. If you'd rather we didn't contact you, tell us and we'll stop.
  • Cookies. Manage or block them in your browser.
  • Access and deletion. You can ask what information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We'll honor those rights where they apply to us.

09

Children's privacy

This website isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive information such as payment card or government ID numbers by email.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or our practices change. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be posted more prominently.
