Catering
You pick the day. We'll bring the food, hot.
Company lunches, crew feeds, graduation parties, church lunches. Cooked at the shop from the same meat we sell over the counter, and delivered hot.
140people, one lunch
An Oktoberfest lunch for a whole company.
A local company asked Tony to feed their entire team. The menu came together over a phone call: brats, hot German potatoes with onions and sweet peppers, and cucumber salad.
All of it cooked at the shop and delivered hot, in pans ready to go straight on the table.
That's a normal order here, not our biggest. If you've got a number in your head, tell us and we'll tell you straight whether we can do it.
What we cater
If people need feeding, we've probably done it.
Most of our catering is for people who just need good food to show up on time and not be a project. Sound familiar? Give us a call.
Company lunches
Staff appreciation, training days, client meetings. Delivered hot to the office, ready for your team to dig in.
Crew feeds
Job sites, shops and warehouses. Hearty food in real portions for people who've been working since six.
Graduation parties
Open houses where guests come and go for hours. Pulled pork, hot beef and trays hold up all afternoon.
Church and funeral lunches
Simple, comforting food on a hard day, handled quietly and on time.
Holidays and family gatherings
When the house is full and you'd rather not cook for twenty. Book early for holiday weeks.
Tailgates and game days
Brats, burgers and snack sticks, or raw prime cuts if you'd rather run the grill yourself.
How it works
Four steps, one phone call.
01
Call us with the basics
Your date, a rough headcount, and whether you want it delivered or you're picking it up. That's enough to get started — you don't need a menu in mind.
02
Tony builds the menu with you
He'll tell you what feeds your crowd well, what holds up if guests are arriving over a few hours, and roughly what it costs. If your budget's fixed, say the number and he'll work to it.
03
Confirm your final count
We'll agree a date to lock in numbers, because that's when the food gets ordered and prepped. Call as soon as you know if anything changes.
04
It shows up hot, ready to serve
We cook at the shop and deliver it in serving pans, or you pick it up. Either way it arrives ready to eat, not needing a kitchen on your end.
Why book it here
The meat is the whole point.
Plenty of places will cater your lunch. Not many of them cut their own meat that morning.
-
Same meat we sell over the counter
Prime and Certified Angus beef, local Duroc pork, hormone-free chicken. Catering doesn't get a cheaper grade here.
-
Made here, not bought in
The brats, sausage and jerky on your table were made at this shop with our own seasoning.
-
You deal with the owner
No sales rep, no account manager. You talk to Tony, and Tony is the one making it.
Before you call
Questions we get asked.
How much notice do you need?
As much as you can give us, and more for holiday weeks and busy weekends. If your date is tight, call anyway — sometimes we can still fit it in.
Do you deliver?
Yes, around the Lakeland area and the lower St. Croix valley. Tell us where you are on the call and we'll confirm it and any delivery charge.
Is there a minimum order?
It depends what you're ordering. Small trays and box lunches are easy, full hot spreads work better above a certain headcount. Ask and we'll be straight with you.
What does it cost?
It depends on the menu and the count, so we quote each one. Tell us your budget and headcount and we'll tell you what that gets you.
Can you handle allergies or dietary needs?
Tell us before you order and we'll do what we can. Everything is made in one facility where all the common allergens are present, so we can't guarantee any dish is allergen-free. See our terms for the details.
Do you serve at the event?
No. We deliver, but we don't staff or serve. Food arrives hot in pans, ready for your table, so plan on someone on your end running the line.
